Your choice matters
We use essential technologies to make the website work. We ask for permission before using non-essential analytics, advertising or personalisation technologies unless a specific legal exception applies. Rejecting non-essential technologies should not prevent you from reading the website or making an enquiry.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small data files stored on a computer, phone or other device when you visit a website. They can support functions such as remembering a preference, maintaining a secure session or helping a website operator understand how a service is used.
This policy also covers similar storage and access technologies, including pixels, tags, scripts, local storage and software development kits. In this policy, “cookies” is used as a convenient collective term.
2. Who is responsible?
This website is operated by Makola Online Ltd, trading as Nimrod Digital Marketing. Makola Online Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 15147416, with registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.

3. How we use these technologies
We may use cookies to:
- deliver pages, forms, security controls, load balancing and requested website functions;
- remember consent and interface preferences;
- understand how visitors find and use the website;
- diagnose errors and improve website performance;
- operate chat, booking or embedded-media functions you choose to use; and
- measure campaigns or support relevant advertising, where you have consented.
The technologies active during a particular visit depend on the features used, your consent choices and changes made by third-party services.
4. Categories we use
Strictly necessary
These technologies are required to transmit communications, provide a function you request, secure the website, remember privacy choices or maintain essential sessions. They cannot always be switched off through our consent tool, although you may be able to block them in your browser. Doing so may break parts of the website.
Functional
These support enhanced functions such as chat, embedded content, preferences or appointment tools. If a function is not strictly necessary, it will be activated only in accordance with the choices shown in the consent tool.
Analytics and performance
These help us understand aggregated patterns such as page visits, navigation paths, traffic sources and technical performance. Where required, we obtain consent before storing or accessing information for analytics.
Advertising and measurement
These may measure campaigns, limit repetition, build audiences or help make advertising more relevant. They may recognise a browser across websites and are not activated before consent where consent is required.
5. Cookie and technology register
The table describes the main technologies that may be used on this website. Entries marked “conditional” operate only when the related feature is enabled and, where required, you have consented. Exact names can include an account or measurement identifier.
| Technology/provider | Example name | Purpose | Typical duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nimrod consent controls / website platform | Consent or preference record | Records the privacy choice associated with your browser and supports requested website functions. | Session to 12 months, depending on configuration | Necessary |
| GoHighLevel / LeadConnector | Session, form, scheduling, chat or attribution storage | Hosts website functions, processes forms, maintains sessions, supports bookings or chat and records permitted attribution information. | Session or as configured for the relevant feature | Necessary / functional |

|
Analytics |
| Google Tag Manager | Tags and consent signals rather than a standard standalone cookie | Manages approved website tags. Any tag loaded through it remains subject to its own category and consent requirement. | Depends on the tag loaded | Management |
| Embedded video, maps, chat or social content (conditional) | Provider-specific cookies or local storage | Delivers third-party content or interactive features selected by the visitor. | Provider and feature dependent | Functional / marketing |
| Advertising platforms, including Meta or Google Ads (conditional) | Provider-specific identifiers and pixels | Measures advertising, attributes conversions and may support audience creation after consent. | Provider dependent, commonly session to 24 months | Advertising |
The live consent panel is the most current source for active non-essential categories. Website integrations can change, so we review this register and the live scanner when features are added or removed.
6. Consent and how to change your choices
When you first visit, our consent interface should allow you to accept or reject non-essential categories without making acceptance easier than rejection. Technologies that require consent should remain inactive until a valid choice is recorded.
You can revisit your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” control in the website footer or the button below. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier processing unlawful, but it should prevent new non-essential storage or access from that point, subject to technical processing time.
Browser controls
You can also remove or block cookies using your browser settings. Browser controls operate separately from our consent tool and may affect essential functions. Guidance is normally available through the help section of your browser.
7. Third-party technologies
Some features are supplied by third parties. When activated, those providers may receive technical information such as IP address, browser details, referring page and interaction data. Their use of information as independent controllers is governed by their own privacy information.
We configure third-party tools with the aim of minimising information and respecting consent. A link to another website does not place that website under our control.
8. The legal framework
Our use of cookies and similar technologies is governed principally by the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, as amended, and—where personal information is involved—the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Some limited storage or access may be exempt from consent where legislation permits, but transparency obligations still apply.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when technologies, suppliers, consent settings or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes may also be highlighted through the website or consent interface.
